Bob Dylan: A hard rains gonna fall.

The title and first line of last nights poem Rain drops keep falling on my head, reminded me of two great old peaces of music, obviously the song raindrops keep falling on my head, which was used in the film, Butch Cassidy and the sundance kid, which I will blog tomorrow, but actually the song that came to mind was actually Bob Dylan’s a hard rains gonna fall. I have always loved this very prophetic song, which even though it was recorded and written in the early 60’s, seems as relevant today as ever. I wanted to find the incredible version that he sang during George Harrison’s Concert for Bangladesh, back in 1971, with George Harrison on electric guitar, Leon Russell on bass and Bob on acoustic guitar and vocals. That was a really great performance, but here instead is Bob Dylan playing acoustic guitar and singing live at the town hall in 1963, thanks to godriczimmerman and YouTube, please enjoy :
