R.I.P. Joe Cocker.

The voice hit one squarely

as the music swelled

and the hands shook,

playing imaginary music,

feet dancing a square,

and sweat pouring  down

his anguished face

onto his tie-dye t shirt,

and now he can’t sing out of tune any more,

and he did receive a huge amount of

help from his friends,

as he fort drug abuse and alcohol abuse,

before coming back to have a string of hits in the

late 80’s, becoming one of the most

easily recognized voices in rock music:

Rest in Peace Joe Cocker.
