Natures bounty

Standing at our kitchen counter;

I cut bread and smear cream cheese on,

then finding some fresh leaves,

in various colours and flavours,

tomatoes, onions, mushrooms

and radishes go into my lunch box,

with some cheese to make

a wonderful lunch that I

will look forward to tomorrow,

and I am in wonder at

natures ability to grow

such tasty food,

and provide such beauty

in doing so.
