Night sounds are drowned
out by the noise of my computer,
yet the moon still shines bright,
and out of the darkness
words appear on the screen
creating thoughts from my imagination,
as I get ready for prayers and bed.

This is lovely Charles, I can relate to this a lot! I find that myself, the best poetry seems to arrive just when I’m getting ready for bed…crazy!! 😀
Yes, I suppose it is because one is relaxing, and on the edge of a dream state. Though I also manage to write good poems in the day, but they seem to have a different tenure to them.
