In the late 1980s, Lieserl, the daughter of the famous genius, donated 1,400 letters, written by Einstein, to the Hebrew University, with orders not to publish their contents until two decades after his death. This is one of them, for Lieserl Einstein.More can be found about Lieserl here

…”When I proposed the theory of relativity, very few understood me, and what I will reveal now to transmit to mankind will also collide with the misunderstanding and prejudice in the world.

  1. Charles:

Sadly, this is too good to be true. An Internet hoax.
But it is amazing that human compassion does have a profound ripple effect.
Just this month the discovered proof of Einstein’s prediction of gravitational waves seems every bit as wondrous and poetic.

Szabolcs Marka, a Columbia University professor and member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, gravitational wave discovery team remarked, “I think this will be one of the major breakthroughs in physics for a long time. Everything else in astronomy is like the eye,” he said, referencing telescopes having given astronomers access to much of the electromagnetic spectrum and the ability to peer deeper into space and time. “Finally, astronomy grew ears. We never had ears before.”

    • Well it certainly took me in, probably I had no reason to not believe it, especially knowing about the request to become a Baha’i, which is true. I think Einstein will be with us for years to come, and his works, know and unknown will play a major part in our understanding of life for many years to come. Best wishes and blessings, Charles.
