Cape Robin.

A happy song arose on

a soothing South West wind;

there before my startled eyes

was a beautiful orange breasted

Cape Robin, looking, bobbing,

singing, suddenly the song stopped;

it jumped and came away with

a grub sticking out either side

of its beak, and flitted off into

the surrounding trees,

reappearing a few minutes later,

hopping along the rocks

at the side of my garden,

nothing, not even my presence

seemed to worry it,

as it carried on its happy song

in the soothing breeze,

under the warming sun.
